2. What data is collected?

The contact form may process your name, email address, company name if provided, phone number if provided, selected project type, contact preference and message. Technical data necessary for security and abuse prevention may also be processed temporarily.

3. Why is it processed?

Data is used to answer questions, handle project enquiries, discuss possible collaboration and take steps at your request before a possible agreement. Technical data may be used to secure the form and prevent abuse. The data is not used for newsletters, advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Legal basis

Processing contact and project enquiries may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. For general communication and form security, IUS may rely on its legitimate interest in answering enquiries and preventing abuse. The applicable legal basis depends on the nature of your enquiry.

5. Retention

Personal data is not kept longer than necessary to handle the enquiry, any subsequent collaboration and applicable legal obligations.

6. Service providers and recipients

IUS does not sell personal data. Cloudflare provides website hosting, infrastructure and Web Analytics. Resend delivers emails submitted through the contact form. These providers may process personal data insofar as necessary to provide the website and contact functionality. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, applicable safeguards for international transfers must be used.

Measures include HTTPS, server-side validation, security headers, spam controls and keeping API secrets outside public code.

8. Cookies and analytics

IUS uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand aggregated visitor and performance statistics such as page views, visits and website performance. The Web Analytics/RUM beacon does not use marketing cookies, localStorage or similar browser storage for this purpose. Technical processing still takes place to collect these measurements through Cloudflare. IUS does not use the data for advertising profiles or cross-site tracking. No cookie banner is therefore shown for these analytics. If the technologies used change, this notice will be updated and prior consent will be requested where necessary.

9. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

This notice may be updated when the website or processing changes. The latest version is always published here.
